Link URL

In this section, you can type in the Web address of the site you want to link to (e.g. www.sycamoresoftware.com). You do NOT need to include the "http://" at the beginning of the address.

Link Text

In this section, you can name the link that appears with the Picture. (This is the the underlined text that the user clicks on to go to the site.)

    To name the link, simply click in the white Link Text box and begin typing as you would in any word processor.

    EDIT: To edit the Link Text, simply click in the white Link Text box again and begin typing as before.

Picture

In this section, you have the option of defining the picture that goes with the link.

    To select a picture, simply click on the Browse button, select an image, and then click on the Open button.

    NOTE: The image must be in either GIF or JPEG format (files whose names end with .gif, .jpg or .jpeg) and no larger in size than 100 KB.

    EDIT: To edit the picture, simply click the Browse button and change the image again. To remove the current picture, simply click the red Remove Picture link and there will be no picture associated with the text.

Description

In this section, you can describe the link. You will want to give the user can get an idea of what information will be on the site.

    To add a text description, click in the white Description box and begin typing as you would in any word processor.

    If you know HTML, you may use tags to further define the properties of the text, such as links and paragraphs.

    EDIT:To edit the Description, simply click in the white Description box again and begin typing as before.

NOTE: Make sure to click the Save button when you are done with your changes.

The Reset button will clear all text you currently entered in the white boxes. The Cancel button will take you back a step to what you were working on before you came to this page.
