From this screen you can do the following:
1. Click New Promo 2. Enter the start and end date for the promotion. 3. Enter a heading for the promotion. This is the title. For example, "Holiday Sale!" 4. Select a picture if desired. Click the browse button, find your picture, and then click Okay. This will automatically save the picture in your database. 5. Enter a description of the promotion if desired. 6. Click Save Promotion Details 7. This will bring up a Search option. Search for products you wish to add to this promotion. 8. Select from products that your search returns to you. You can select one product at a time or select several by clicking and holding the Ctrl key and making your selections. 9. If you do not see a product you are looking for, search again. 10. After you make a selection click Add. 11. This will list the products you select, and give you the ability to assign sale prices for the products. You may also delete an product from the promotion on this page. 12. After entering prices, or checking any products to delete click Save Prices and Delete Checked. 13. To return to the main promotion page, go to the top of the page you are in and click on Back to Promotion List. What does this do to the shopper side? Adding promotions to your Web site will change the promotion currently running on your Home Page. Since you set the dates for your promotions, the site will change automatically. You don't have to remember to change your promotion when the sale is over! |
